SUKLA YAJURVEDA NOUNS

yvs.7 Under thy guidance, in thy keeping, Hero! the singers serve, skilled in fair sacrifices.
yvs.7 37 Indra, accordant with the banded Maruts, drink Soma, Hero! as wise Vritra slayer.
yvs.8 O Hero, everywhere.
yvs.17 33 Swift, rapidly striking, like a bull who sharpens his horns, terrific, stirring up the people, With eyes that close not, bellowing, Sole Hero, Indra subdued at once a hundred armies.
yvs.17 39 Piercing the cow stalls with surpassing vigour, Indra, the pitiless Hero, wild with anger, Victor in fight, unshaken and resistless, may he protect our armies in our battles.
yvs.20 40 To the strong Indra go the sounding Portals, dames with a goodly husband, swiftly moving! Well manned, divine, wide be the Doors thrown open, expanding in their greatness fir the Hero!
yvs.20 41 Dawn and Night, lofty, sapful, richly yielding, fair showing, as they weave with varied colour The long extended thread in concert, worship the God of Gods, the lofty Hero Indra.
yvs.20 47 May Indra come to us for our protection, here, lauded Hero, be our feast companion.
yvs.20 50 Indra the Rescuer, Indra the Helper, Hero who listens at each invocation, Sakra I call, Indra invoked of many.
yvs.27 35 Like kine unmilked we call aloud, Hero, to thee and sing thy praise, Looker on heavenly light, Lord of this moving world, Lord, Indra! of what moveth not.
yvs.33 There, even there the Maruts strengthened Indra when his most rapid Mother stirred the Hero.
yvs.33 89 May Brahmanaspati draw nigh, may Sunrita the Goddess come, And Gods bring to our rite which gives the fivefold gift the Hero, lover of mankind.
yvs.34 14 Lay this with care on her who lies extended: straight, when impregned, hath she brought forth the Hero.
yvs.34 Let us sing glory to the far famed Hero who must be praised with fair hymns by the singer.
yvs.36 7 O Hero, with what aid dost thou delight us, with what succour bring Riches to those who worship thee? 8 Indra is king of all that is: may weal attend our bipeds and our quadrupeds.
