VALMIKI RAMAYANA NOUN

vrm.5.23 By the name, famous as Visrava, with a radiance equalling that of Lord Brahma that glorious sage is the son born from the thought of Pulastya.
vrm.5.23 "O wide eyed one! Ravana who makes enemies to cry, is Visrava s son.
vrm.6.74 He saw the abode of Agni, the abode of Vaisravana son of Visrava shining like the sun, the spot where the sun was tied down, the abode of Brahma, the abode of bow belonging to Lord Shiva and the navel of the earth.
vrm.7.2 And as thou hadst heard the Veda recited by me, so, without doubt, he shall be named Visrava.
vrm.7.2 i Thus addressed, that noble damsel with her soul wrought up with delight, in a short time brought forth her son Visrava, famed over the three worlds and furnished with virtue and fame ;versed in the Vedas, of an impartial spirit, and ever engaged in observing vows.
vrm.7.2 And the ascetic, Visrava, was furnished with asceticism even like his sire.
vrm.7.3 And Pulastya s son that prime of ascetics Visrava in a short time was engaged in asceticism like his father.
vrm.7.3 Learning of his ways, that mighty ascetic, Bharadwaja, gave unto Visrava" for his wife, his own daughter, Devavarnini.
vrm.7.3 And having religiously wed Bharadwaja s daughter, that foremost of ascetics, Visrava, conceiving the highest delight, began to relect on the welfare of his offspring with an intelligence concentrated on them.
vrm.7.3 And well pleased, Pulastya in company with the Devarshis thought, Inasmuch as this is Visrava s offspring, and as he resembles Visrava himself, so he should be known by the name of Vaisravana.
vrm.7.3 Thus accosted by his son, that best of ascetics, Visrava, spoke, O righteous one, Listen !O excellent one.
vrm.7.3 And that foremost of Nairitas, the righteous son of Visrava, well pleased, abode in Lanka having the Ocean for her entrenchment.
vrm.7.9 Do thou, my daughter, seek for thy husband that best and foremost of ascetics sprung in the line of Prajapati Pulastya s son, Visrava, and of thyself accept him for thy lord.
vrm.7.9 Hearing that speech of his, the daughter for the sake of the dignity of her sire, going to where Visrava was practising penances, stood there.
vrm.7.9 On being thus besought by the girl, Visrava, best of ascetics, again addressed Kaikasi, like the full Moon addressing Rohini, O fair faced one, the son that thou bringest forth last, shall be like unto my line, he shall, without doubt be righteous souled.
vrm.7.11 I shall now repair unto Visrava, our common father and inform him all about this Reflecting thus and becoming sceptical about Ravana agreeing to that proposal, he went to his father Visravasa.
vrm.7.11 Seeing his son Vaisravana, having arrived thus, the great sage Visrava addressed him thus: "O child, what shall I do for thee? What is the purpose of thy visit? Why are thou agitated thus?" Hearing this Kubera, with folded palms, told him: "O, sage, thou art the father of myself and Ravana.
vrm.7.20 And that Devarshi the exceedingly energetic Narada of immeasurable splendour, seated on the back of the cloud, addressed Ravana, who was stationed in Pushpaka, saying, O lord of Rakshasas, O placid one, O son of Visrava, stay.
vrm.7.36 Hearing of the absence of the king from the citizens Visrava s son came out of the city and reached the Vindhya mountain resembling the Himalayas.
vrm.7.46 Hearing those words, O king, Ravana, in anger said "I am the son of the ascetic Visrava, Ravana by name ;I have come hither being desirous of fighting ;but I do not behold anyone here.
