VALMIKI RAMAYANA NOUN

vrm.3.14 "Oh, Rama, Krodhavasha gave birth to ten of her self same daughters namely Mrigi, Mrigamanda, Hari, Bhadramanda, Maatangi, Sharduulii, Shveta, Surabhi, and like that to Surasa, who is embodied with all giftedness, and even to Kadruva.
vrm.3.14 "And Hari s offspring are Lions and sagely/mighty Vanaras, while Sharduulii gave birth to Golangulas and Tigers.
vrm.6.128 He is the powerful Hari Narayana.
vrm.7.6 Do ye seek the shelter of him who holdcth the discus and mace in his hands, and who is clad in a yellow attire, of Janardana, Hari, even of the auspicious Narayana.
vrm.7.6 Ye gods, cast of all fear O foremost of Rakshasas, Hari promised unto the frightened Devas that he would slay us.
vrm.7.6 Hiranyakasipu hath met with death at the hands of Hari, as also other enemies of the immotals.
vrm.7.6 And seated on Suparna s back, the blue brown Hari clad in yellow attire resembled a mass of clouds on the crest of the golden mountain, with lightning playing through it.
vrm.7.7 And as locusts flood a field, knats throng about a flame, gad flies cluster around a pot of honey, or makaras range the deep, so the shafts shot by the bows of the Rakshasa, having the energy of the thunder bolt and endowed with the velocity of the wind or thought, pierce Hari as if at the universal dissolution.
vrm.7.7 And those mounted on cars assailed him with their cars, and those mounted on the backs of elephants assailed him with their elephants, and those riding horses assailed him with their horses, and the foot soldiers attacked him, stationed in the sky ;and the foremost of Rakshasas resembl ing mountains, by means of dats, rishtis and tomaras, suspended the respiration of Hari even as the Pranayama doth that of a twice born one.
vrm.7.7 And winded by Hari with his utmost might, that water sprung king of conchs, endowed with terrific blares, roared, as if afflicting the three worlds.
vrm.7.7 And Hari by means of his shafts cut of their necks, and arrows, and standards, and bows, and cars, and ensigns, and quivers.
vrm.7.7 And on the Rakshasa army having been broken in consequence of the beating it got at the hands of Narayana, Sumali with showers of shafts resisted Hari in the encounter; and as a mist envelopes the Sun, he envoloped him with his arrows.
vrm.7.7 And like birds entering the Krauncha, the arrows discharged from Mali s bow, graced with gold, hit Hari and entered into his body.
vrm.7.7 And hearing the cheers of the Rakshas, Indra s younger brother, the reverend Hari, sitting awry on that lord of birds, albeit moved of from the scene of conflict, waxing enraged, from a desire of slaying Mali hurled his disc at him.
vrm.7.7 And driven by Hari s networks of arrows, and discharging all the while their own showers of shafts, those night rangers resembling the clouds of doom, are driven like the veritable clouds of the universal dissolution drifted by the wind.
vrm.7.8 And hurled by the hand of Malyavan, the dart resonant with bells, appeared graceful on Hari s breast like lightning embosomed in clouds.
vrm.7.22 And in a moment those horses like unto thoughtin celerity, and resembling the steedsthemselves of Hari, took Yama where the warfare had already begun.
vrm.7.24 The glorious Hari, the lord Vishnu, knoweth only how to bring about their destruction who perpetually assail the Devas.
vrm.7.24 Hearing the words of Ravana Bali said "He is the lord Hari Narayana the protector of the three worlds.
vrm.7.24 And he, gifted with great strength, brought about destruction in the form of Time ;and this Hari, with a discus in his hand, is sacrifice and is being worshipped in sacrifices.
vrm.7.24 Beholding him thus excited, the lord Hari, with a club in his hand, thought within himself, O Rama, "I shall not slay this sinner for the satisfaction of Brahma" and assuming his own shape disappeared.
vrm.7.43 The learned duly, in their sacrifices, worship that Hari, respected of people and drinking nectar, who is the lord of the universe, whose origin we do not know, who is daily worshipped by the Devas and Asuras, who is highly powerful Narayana from whose navel has spumg Brahma, the creator of the world, and who has created the Universe consisting of mobile and immobile beings.
vrm.7.43 Hearing those Words of the great ascetic Sanatkumara, Ravana, the lord of Rakshasas, bowing, replied "Being slain by Hari to what station do the Daityas, Danavas and Rakshasas attain? And why doth Hari destroy them ?"Whereto Sanatkumara replied "Whoever are slain by the Devas do eternally reside in their region.
vrm.7.43 Hearing those words given vent to by the great ascetic Sanatkumara the night ranger Ravana, being worked up with delight and surprise, began to meditate how he should enter into conflict with Hari.
vrm.7.61 Having beheld the Asuras thus helped by Bhrigu s wife, Hari, the king of the Devas, enraged, chopped of her head with his sharp discus.
