Audumbaras were a tribe mentioned in Mahabharata. They are mentioned as bringing tribute to Pandava king Yudhisthira. Their territory is identified to be in Himachal_Pradesh close to the territories of Kulutas and Kulindas. The name Audumbara seems to come from a species named Udumbara or Udumvara.
