SAMAVEDA NOUN

svs.1.1.1 The Sun, that all may look on him.
svs.1.1.2 For, Purifier! like the Sun thou beamest with thy radiant glow.
svs.1.2.2 I was born like unto the Sun.
svs.1.3.2 5. Turning, as it were, to meet the Sun enjoy from Indra all good things!
svs.1.6.1 Flow onward with that stream wherewith thou gavest splendour to the Sun, speeding the waters kind to man!
svs.1.6.1 1. The tawny Bull hath bellowed, fair as mighty Mitra to behold: he gleams and flashes with the Sun.
svs.1.6.1 6. The ancient living ones have come unto a newer resting place. They made the Sun that he might shine.
svs.1.6.1 The race of kine thou cleansest, Pavamana! Thou didst beget: and speed the Sun with splendours.
svs.2.1.2 2. The Sun ascending, the refulgent star, pours down his beams. together with the Dawn.
svs.2.1.2 O Dawn, at thine arising, and, the Sun s, may we attain the share allotted us!
svs.2.1.2 2. In aspect he is like the Sun: he runneth forward to the lakes: Seven currents flowing to the sky.
svs.2.3.2 2. Thou, Indra, art the conqueror: thou gavest splendour to the Sun.
svs.2.4.1 He gleams and flashes with the Sun.
svs.2.4.1 5. Give us our portion in the Sun through thine own mental power and aids;
svs.2.4.1 6. Through thine own mental power and aids long may we look upon the Sun:
svs.2.4.1 1. Soon as the Sun hath risen I sing to you, to Mitra, Varuna,
svs.2.4.2 11. He makes us kin with Gods, he joins the Sun, for seeing, with mine eye;
svs.2.4.2 12. The Sun beholdeth with his eye the heaven s dear quarter which the priests
svs.2.5.1 2. He, Pavamana, high over man, yoked the Sun s courser Etasa,
svs.2.5.1 3. Yea, those bay steeds he harnessed to the chariot that the Sun might come:
svs.2.5.2 Gave splendour to the Sun in heaven.
svs.2.5.2 Mounts up together with the Sun.
svs.2.5.2 4. This Pavamana, up above on Trita s ridge, hath made the Sun,
svs.2.5.2 1. Turning as it were to meet the Sun, enjoy from Indra all good things!
svs.2.6.1 1. So when the Sun hath risen to day may sinless Mitra, Aryaman, Bhaga, and Savitar send us forth!
svs.2.6.1 2. Thou Pavamana, didst beget the Sun with might, and rain in the supporting sky,
svs.2.6.3 All lighting, radiant, mighty as the Sun to see, he spreadeth wide unshaken victory and strength.
svs.2.7.1 I was born like unto the Sun.
svs.2.7.1 4. O Agni, thou hast made the Sun, the eternal star, to mount the sky,
svs.2.7.2 Hath a fair aspect like the Sun.
svs.2.7.3 2. With might hath Indra spread out heaven and earth, with power hath indra lighten up the Sun. In Indra are all creatures closely held; in him meet the distilling Soma drops.
svs.2.8.3 3. Yea, come at milking time, at early morning, at noon of day, and when the Sun is setting,
svs.2.9.1 Bright like the Sun with hundredfold existence
