Mbh.1.71.3771 It was Viswamitra who in anger created a second world and numerous stars beginning with Sravana.
Mbh.3.289.14160 And Vasishtha and Vamadeva then together installed that hero in the sovereignty of Ayodhya at the eighth Muhurta of the day under the asterism called Sravana.
Mbh.6.3.114 Mars wheeleth towards Magha and Vrihaspati Jupiter towards Sravana.
Mbh.6.3.121 The red-bodied Mars possessed of the effulgence of fire, wheeling circuitously, stayeth in a line with the constellation Sravana over-ridden by Vrihaspati.

Mbh.14.44.1807 The constellations have Sravana for their first; the Seasons have that of dews viz, Winter for their first.
