Mbh.1.67.3470 And, O king, that great Asura who was known as Vritra became on earth the royal sage known by the name of Manimat.
Mbh.2.21.911 Manu himself had ordered the country of the Magadhas to be never afflicted with drought, and Kaushika and Manimat also have favoured the country.
Mbh.2.29.1227 And the mighty son of Kunti then subjugated, by sheer force, the country called Vatsabhumi, and the king of the Bhargas, as also the ruler of the Nishadas and Manimat and numerous other kings.
