Good suggestion. One reason I moved the Kingdom Pages that I created and maintained in Wikipedia for the last 4 years to Wikidot is the ability to connect the pages with Google-Maps, and show the kingdoms in the Google Map which will then give more clarity and geographic context for the kingdoms mentioned in Mahabharata. I have already done the necessary work at Google Map by creating three custom maps named Epic India Main, Epic India North West and Epic India South East. I have already marked all the kingdoms and cities on these maps. Currently Google Map has a limitation, which limits the number of places that can be added to a map to 100. Hence I could not add all of them in a single map, but had to create three maps.
Now I need to link kingdom pages one by one to the three Epic-Kingdom-Google-Maps. I am sure it will be of great value to the Mahabharata researchers.
Is it possible for you to take up this activity since my band width is limited. I can give you the links to the three custom Google Maps that I created to mark Epic Kingdoms. I can also show you how to add them in different tabs in a page, or you can just look the Kuru, Panchala pages and know the syntax and use it in other kingdom pages like Kosala and Kasi. It will be great if you can complete it for all the major kingdom pages, some 60 or so pages.
